The Gamo Coyote PCP 5.5mm Air Rifle includes a multi-shot mechanism functioning on a classic bolt system, which works on a removable magazine which holds ten (10) pellets. This model features a fixed, pre-compressed air reservoir, integrated into the rifle, and at the end of the reservoir there’s a manometer showing the level of compressed air remaining.
The barrel is an engineering feat, built using a cold-forged hammering process. This allows the rifle to deliver shots with admirable precision. The COYOTE has an ambidextrous, Beachwood rifle butt, hunter style, finished in water-based varnish with rubber edging.
It offers whisper technology polymer jacketed rifled steel barrel sound moderator that compresses noise and prevents sound expansion. The custom action trigger, (CAT), is new technology developed by Gamo allowing the shooter to independently adjust phases 1 and 2 of the trigger. By simply loosening the phase 1 screw, it increases the range of movement in the trigger mechanism. If one wants a shorter phase 1 trigger movement, it only requires tightening the same screw. The second phase adjustment is equally simple. The adjustment mechanism has to be unscrewed (loosened) to increase the range of the phase 2 trajectory or conversely, tightening is all that is required to reduce the trajectory in phase 2.
